Deane Ogden is an award-winning film composer, studio percussionist, and co-founder of the SCOREcast podcast. He has written scores for over twenty feature films including 'The Sensei,' 'Dreams On Spec,' Lionsgate's 'The Way Home,' and Sony's 'The Hit List' starring Cuba Gooding Jr. His music has also been featured in the Touchstone Pictures blockbuster 'Surrogates' starring Bruce Willis. Ogden was commissioned to write the orchestral themes for Michael Phelps' record-breaking gold medal run during the 2008 Olympic Games, the most-viewed event in American television history. As a studio percussionist, he has recorded with Tina Turner, Seal, Chris Cornell, Rihanna, and Dido, working with producers David Foster and Chris Lord-Alge. Ogden co-hosts SCOREcast with Brian Ralston, a popular podcast covering the business and art of writing music for film and television.
